Worst Thanksgiving ever... - Happy Holidays

Yesterday I started feeling kinda off and by the time I went to bed I was freezing. I mean I was shaking because I was so cold. This morning I woke up burning hot. Took my temperature and it was 104.1 so DH insisted that we went to the ER. 4 hours later I get the diagnosis... A fever... Now I did not need them to tell me that... It went down temporarily but I'm starting to get hot again and last time I took my temp it was at 101.3.

They checked for that. All lab results came back normal.

Fevers just don't show up at 104... Those jerks just didn't want to be bothered. Fever indicates infection somewhere. Oh that pisses me off!!! Please take care and take it easy.Alternate between motrin and tylenol if you can.

I never got checked for it...they just prescribed antibiotics...if your fever doesnt go down you obviously have some sort of infection...Maybe go back to the E.R or get an accute care appointment and MAKE them give you something!! I had mastitis twice and never had any symptoms but a fever...either way I hope you feel better

its so hard to care for a newborn and be sick too!!!

If the fever is still up tomorrow I def will go back to the ER.

Your DH just worried about you. Thats cute. But make sure you moniture your temp... it could go sky high! And we want you safe
