Disney around Thanksgiving - Happy Holidays

Has anyone been to Disney World on or around Thanksgiving? Is it really busy? DB and I are going down this year for Thanksgiving because we can't afford to go home and my Aunt and Uncle live right outside of Orlando and work for Disney (woo hoo free tickets!!!

) But I was just wondering if anyone knew how crowded it was going to be

I am here as we speak Jamie and its not that busy at all compared to the summer!! I recommend coming now. Its cool and nice and not very crowded here in Orlando!!

just you and your man, should be ok. it will be busy but not awful.

But no way in hell will I take the kids again on the 4th of july. It was hot and over croweded. They shut the parks down

I totally agree. A loooooooong time ago we went right around Christmas and I dont remember it being busy at all.

I know some people that go to Disneyland (I know not disney world) on thanksgiving most years and they say it is the best day to go.

Disneyworld at any big holiday is crowded. We went one year the week of Christmas and it was busy but not like the 4th of july.
And thanksgiving they do one of the T day parades there

when i went at thanksgiving about 12 years ago...there were no lines and we ate thanksgiving dinner at the polynesian resort...not too hot either. great weather, and a great time!

When we went for New Years it was HELL!!!! we actually got out tickets refunded because of problems. with it just being 2 of you, i would think it would be fine though.

I think the only time of year I haven't been to Disney is during Thanksgiving lol But you should be ok.. I have a friend who's going this year and has gone before and she says its beautiful.. Have fun !! Wish I was going sooner lol
