    Question Holiday appetizer ideas

What do you eat for appetizers or picky food on holidays?

Were having some people over on christmas, and Im making a ham, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, roasted potatoes, some rolls, but Im at a loss as to what else. I think if I had some finger foods or picky foods before hand it would be okay.

    Ideas please!!

We ALWAYS have a cheese plate for the Holidays or any gatherings.
Alot of times we do a plate with pickles and olives and such on it.
Crackers are a great snack food before dinner.

I had a party last weekend. I had garlic knots, cheese, crackers, meats and fruit to snack on.

Some other things I have used in the past were breaded cheese sticks with marinara, chicken strips and pepperoni pinwheels.

    All simple snacks!

a vegetable platter with dip, cheese and cracker platter with pepperoni, mom or family makes this bean dip for an appetizer, celery with creamcheese.

These aren't anything special, but these are usually the appetizers we have at my house or at my family's house. My Mom does make stuffed mushrooms on Christmas.

Maple treats! It's like syrup on the bottom of the pan I guess, and then those crescent rolls with cream cheese in them, syrup on top of that, and nuts if you want them. SO good. Omg. Look up a recipe...I'd give you my moms, but I have no idea where it is.
