Buying a real tree at Lowes?

    Advertisements
DH and I want to go to Lowe's and get a Fir tree tomorrow for Christmas.
    We're thinking like a 6 1/2 -7 ft tall one.

Can anyone give us a idea about how much Lowe's sells them for?
It's a tad far and DH's friend is coming with us 'cause our car is to small for transport, I just want to make sure we can afford it before bothering his friend for nothing.

well, we didn't go to lowes but we got a fraser fir at home depot and it was a 7 footer and it cost 50 bucks. The shorter in feet you go, the cheaper the tree. The 5 - 6 ft ones were like 25 bucks. It also depends on the type of fir tree you get too. Hope that helped.

Not sure, but they give a 10% military discount, so be sure to ask for that.

According to Lowe's, Corporate stopped allowing the military discounts because they're losing too much money. Same with Home Depot (have a great friend that works at Home Depot who's verified this). Sometimes you can get a cashier to do it but not all of them will.

But some trees go for $100 and others go for $15; it just really depends on what they have available. If you budget for a $50 tree, you'll have a pretty decent tree.
