Halloween Costume Progress *FINISHED DRESS*

Well, it's mostly finished. I want to add a few patches and finish the bottom but I ran out of black thread.

Here is what it is supposed to look like:



And here is what I made. I know it's not EXACT, but you get the idea I HOPE! (Ignore the make-up, it's the cheap creamy stuff).







I cut up a dress from the thrift store, dyed it, grabbed some other scrap fabric and voila!

that is awesome! It's going to look 100 times better than the store bought version. I Nightmare Before Christmas.

Are you painting your face white? I think that would help me decide if I was going to paint my arms white too. (athough it may be a bit annoying to have paint on your arms all night)

I bought some face paint but it is SO creamy and it rubs off really easily. I will be running around and stuff all night and I don't want my makeup all over my friend's house. I was thinking buying white powder (if they sell it) and doing more of a subtle color on my face. I wouldn't do my face if I didn't do the rest of my body.

Yeah halloween makeup is itchy and annoying IMO. And I think if you just did the stitches (on your face and arms) without the white, it would still look awesome. Your dress is going to rock!

Yeah I think I'm going to stick with waterproof eyeliner for the stiches and keep it simple. Thank you! Hopefully I can finish on time! I have alot of sewing to do.

I am thinking of getting some fabric glue and using it on the inside so I don't come unraveled.

How original! Are you allowed to dress up at all?

I haven't dressed up in years but this year I was determined, whether I went out or not! Thankfully we are going to a party! Nerf and Alcohol.

I wanted db to be Dr. Finklestein and I could roll him around in a wheelchair!
