Christmas
when do you start shopping? I HATE to shop at Christmas time, so I start on my kids stuff around june-july.
I am actually almost completely DONE shopping for the kids this year All I really have left to get them are their new bikes, then I'll be done If you don't start early, you should try it. I go about once every 2 weeks or so (starting in the summer) and catch the sale stuff (that way you don't spend a crapload of $ at one time). I'll get the kids each a thing or two when I go. There are some good sales on toys and clothes throughout the year. Seems like the prices go up and up and up the closer it gets to Christmas:mad And I won't even mention the crowds I can't stand to shop in a crowded store!!!!so what about yall? Anyone start yet?

Last year I started around August, but I haven't yet started this year. I'm feeling the bug creeping in though...that little Christmas bug

I started yesterday. I bought them one gift a piece. When we get payed on Friday, I'll get 2-3 gifts a piece. I already know what I'm getting Ashtin. I saw a couple of things that I saw that he might like, but I didn't see as much as I did for Gavin like I did for Ashtin.

In the past 2 years no. We moved in Nov. last year and didn't want to have to pack all the presents up and everyone see what they got as they were being packed or unpacked. This year is the same deal. We are moving to a new house soon so again don't want to be packing and unpacking presents for others to see what they got. Normally though I start in September. Normally I don't set foot in a store to Christmas shop in Dec. Once we move this year I'm going to try my best to get everything done before Dec. I went in Dec. last year and it sucked. So many people, things sold out, ugh. Headache. That is what it was. A big old headache.

When it was just Rod and I, I would start during the Christmas season. Now that we have E I try to start early. Especially since his bday is in Nov. So this year I have already started. And we are arounbd 1/4 done with CHristmas and bday. I proly have 1 or 2 more items to buy for his bday and then the rest of the stuff for Christmas. It seems easier to do it this way. I know last year we dropped a ton of money on Christmas at one time and I HATE doing that. So I am trying to spread it as far as possible!
