If you and your SO agreed to exchange gifts for Vday, do you already know what you'll get, or do you think you'll be pretty surprised?

Is your SO the 'romantic' gift/surprise type? Or is the the convenient/practical type

?

Well I kind of blew my surprise because I saw his receipt on the table the other night so I knew I was getting some sort of stuffed animal but the roses he got me were a surprise, he brought them to me on Monday so I could enjoy them all week

My DH is the romantic type...but he's terrible at gifts

One time he gave me a cow's heart in a jar.

DF's terrible at surprises. We're getting each other board games.

I guess you could say that's "practical".

lol was there some sort of symbolism behind it?? And where do you even find a cow's heart? Do you still have it????

Pretty sure he'll do flowers. So no, I doubt I'll be surprised really.

I will be getting the same thing I get every year... a heart shaped box of Russell Stover's chocolate from the Px with the toffee bars missing.

He eats those on the way home.

very surprised. Dh gave me cash a week before christmas

I got him a card this year. most V-days he waits until the day of and then comes home with a walgreens box of chocolates which he either eats, or makes fun of me for eating anyway.

If J got me flowers, I think I'd fall over in shock, LOL! I think the last time I got flowers from him was like 6 years ago

Ian is the surprise/romantic type. I'm not sure if he will send anything this year..,.if anything it will probably be flowers since he is deployed. we will see, if I do get something I will be sure to post a thread about it because I will be so happy
