Braving the Mall

I did it - I was swayed by the After Christmas ads in the paper and on tv. So, DD and I bundled up and braved the crowds. I found a really cute pair of 9West boots on HUGE sale at Macy's and FOUR new dresses that are DARLING - also on sale at Macy's.

There were 500,000 people there but Macy's had extra staff on today so the lines weren't that bad. I was in and out of the mall in a little less than 2 hours.

I didn't make it to Steve & Barrys but we might go back out tomorrow. They have the cutest tshirts and I love the way they fit.

OK, so 500,000 MIGHT be a bit of an exaggeration but tell me elbowing through even 20 ladies in the crowded clearance section doesn't feel like 2000... *giggle*

I completely understand.
Some lady shoppers are crazy...ever had an item snatched out of your hand?...I have had stuff close to that happen to me before.

I wanted to brave the mall but Lyric got shots today and was pissy so we came home.
Tomorrow tho all bets are off, i will be in the mall.

Your a brave woman. There are two days I would never shop and that is today AND the day after thanksgiving.

You know, we ventured out the day after Thanksgiving too and the crowds were about the same. It think retailers prepare for the extra crowds and so they are staffed at full capacity. We usually get through lines faster than normal!

Go figure!
