Postponed thanksgiving? - Happy Holidays

so DH has to work tomorrow so we are just gonna have thanksgiving on friday since he doesnt have to work that day. its no biggy since this happened last year but i was just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat...

We are doing that with Christmas...DH works the ER so he will be there christmas eve and all day christmas. We will just celebrate once hes home and rested.

we almost had to do thanksgiving on the 18th. but the command changed thier minds and he isnt leaving till friday now.

Actually I'm ok with it, it's good money. And, sadly, I miss Black Friday sales because I have to work then too. So Saturday it is! It really isn't a big deal to us, especially since we already celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving last month

Being in the military for so long we have just learned holidays are whatever day you make them. With deployments and duty it's very hard to celebrate sometimes on that exact day. We do it all the time.
