alone on thanksgiving - Happy Holidays

So DB is in Nuke school right now and he ad.

I want to make his thanksgiving special from so far away...

Can he go home with any of his friends? I know DB is bringing home 3 boys from the west coast with him. I wish I had a better idea...I feel bad that he'll be lonely.

His friends that are going home didn't invite him and he is not the type of guy to ask or to even mention that he will be stuck there...kwim?

Trust me he won't be alone. The first holiday's away from home can be a bit rough BUT someone always brings single sailors home for dinner OR they eat together at the galley. My DH is over at Diego Garcia and they are going to cook for themselves. He will be ok but it is very sweet you are worrying about him.

This is coming from someone that has lived in Japan for the holidays and I think whole time I was AD I went home for Thanksgiving once the entire 7.5 years. Just not always feasible. (((HUGS)))
