Thanksgiving Dinner??? - Happy Holidays

Hi All,

My dh is currently in A school, and i'm going up there for thanksgiving weekend. Do they have a Thanksgiving dinner for families that are staying on base or coming up to visit?? I want to be able to have a thanksgiving dinner and be able to eat something since EVERYTHING is closed on thanksgiving day.

most bases do something in way of thanksgiving dinner.

A lot of restaurants are open on Thanksgiving. I'm sure the base galley or something will have a turkey dinner. He needs to look into it!

We just left. A good place, right around the corner from the base is Full Moon. We went all the time. On Thanksgiving they do free dinner for military. Other than that by the mall in Gurnee has tons of places by it and almost everyone is open Thanksgiving.

Awesome, I've been up there a couple times and i've been to full moon for breakfast....Im glad things are open up there also....everything where im at closes down!
