Thanksgiving it will just be the kids and I. and my SIL is coming out with her 2 girls for Christmas.

The in-laws are thinking of coming over for Thanksgiving (so I might be doing the full family dinner for the first time

) and I think we're just going to have a quiet Xmas together

DH is inviting the soldiers in his Co. that are single or here without family over for Thanksgiving dinner and football.

Christmas DH will be at BNCOC, and I'm not sure how they do time off for the holidays, if they get any time at all. My family is coming here for Christmas though.

Thanksgiving: I will be spending with my one friend in Long Island...going to England/Ireland by 9pm out of JFK.

Christmas: Still waiting to see how much the Navy will screw DB over.Since theyre already fing with Tgiving.So My rents will be in Cali,and my Dad's side will still be doing the Xmas Mass/Dinner in Philly,PA.We'll see.It really depends on what DB is doing.I may drag him to Philly for the weekend prior to Xmas Day.Since I wont see ANY of my family for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving: we're having a small dinner with my family and then another one with DH's family the next day.

Christmas: My brother who lives in Phoenix (I live in KS and only get to see him 2 times a year) and his family are coming up for a week or so, so I'll be at my parent's house for the majority of Christmas break, but we always take a few days to go see DH's family and have our Christmas with them as well. We'll also try to have our "own" Christmas before all that happens.

Thanksgiving will actually be quiet this year, no single sailors to invite over.. we are going home for christmas that will be interesting.
