Holidays and the single guys? - Happy Holidays

Do you invite his single friends over for Holiday dinners likeThanksgiving, Christmas, Easter...etc if they aren't going back home?

Some of C's better workmates/friends onboard are single and we are inviting them over for Thanksgiving dinner this year. I told him he has to give me a definite list no later than Nov 15th!

I feel bad for them not having any family close by.

I would totally welcome Dh's single friends. Before I joined him over here, he spent Thanksgiving at a friends house and his friends who hosted were so good to him knowing his family wasn't around.

we did it the last 2 years! its great i dont mind cooking for them well hubby really does. im glad that we can make them happy beeing so far away from home! i think its a great thing to do !

We invited some of his single friends over last year and they were supposed to bring something like drinks or something - no one did and that kinda pissed me off. I'm not sure what we're doing this year tho - there's not to many of his friends that I'm fond of anyway.

we would but don't since all the people who DH work with have there family close by or usually go see them.

Last year I had about 15 or so of hubby's friends here. It was great. I made a ton of food and it was so much fun. We will have to see what happens this year, so much is up in the air right now!

We usually invite a few when we are having the holidays at our house. But this year we are going to mom's so she can do the cooking so I don't have to be on my feet!
