Custom Comforters, Pillows, etc...
So I Made a comforter and pillow for a friend of mine that was deployed and thought i'd offer my "services" to others. This particular comforter is a twin size, the bottom side is navy blue fleece with a fluffy padding inbetween and the top is the Army fabric, but I can basically get any type of service or material you want. I also made a few pillows and this particular pillow is a neck pillow (great for airplanes!) with the soft satin edging that is on baby blankets. Let me know if anyone is interested! If you look close in the top corner

Well, basically ANY fabric you find that you would like to use I can get and use, even if you find something online...BUT, as far as what i've seen for Marines, they have one that looks almost identical to this Army pattern but with Marines instead. I could always go to Hobby Lobby or the other Fabric store and look for you...I have some ideas too like doing some patchwork stuff...It only took me a couple hours to do this one, so i'd like to experiment some too! I love custom stuff!

Would you want it to be thicker or a little more lightweight? I can make it with or without the lining between the fleece and the fabric. It makes it a lot more fluffy and warmer with, but isn't necessary either. I just ask because it will change the price (the extra material).

Alrighty so I just looked at my receipt from my material I bought the other day...and I could possibly find some cheaper stuff, but this material is really nice and the fleece is SO soft. For a queen I would need 5 yards of each material, so when I bought it earlier this week the fleece was 7.99 a yard and the Army material was 6.99 a yard, the inbetween layer was 4.49 a yard...so all together it would be about $80.00 for the lightweight. If you wanted me to personalize it I could defintely do that...I can also play around with different materials and see what I can get on sale. I think that material is on sale right now...Let me know what you think!
