Would you be interested in soy candles?
Today I went to my favorite soy candle online shop and they have stopped making my favorite scent! At first I was really bummed, but then I thought, why not try and make it myself. Then I thought, I wonder if I could start making them and sharing them with others! I've been looking for a home business opportunity!
Well, before I get into this all hardcore, I wanted to get a feeling for who would be interested in these and what kind of scents you would be looking for. TIA! BTW, if I were to start advertising these here, I would purchase a Jewel membership (I'm going to anyway as soon as we can afford it). |

It's made from soy wax as opposed to beeswax or paraffin. Some people believe that soy is more "green," burns cleaner, etc. I can't find anything concrete saying that one is better than the other. Personally, I think that soy holds scent better.

I have a soy bear (a gift from DH that he got from the PX). It's a teddy bear dipped in scented soy wax and it is amazing. The scent lasts up to a year and if it starts to "die out" you just take a hair dryer to the bear, heat up the wax to reactivate it, and then use a fork to make it look fluffy again. So simple and brilliant! You could easily do that.
