In March 2008 my husband headed off on his fourth deployment. In the past they've been relatively short 3-4 months. This deployment however was set to last 7 months. As my husband left and I worked on curtains for my teenage girls' room I thought about making them matching pillows. As I thought some more I wondered about putting their Dad's picture on the pillows so that he would be close to them during the deployment. From that idea I made each of my children a "pillow" with their Dad's picture on it. In order to personalize them for each of the children I backed them with a material of their choosing and added a matching ribbon. From there the "Remember Me Pillows" were born.



My hope is that each Remember Me Pillow brings as much comfort to the child that receives them as my children got from them during his last deployment.



If you would like to order more than one Remember Me Pillow with the same photo I will give a discount per additional pillow in the same order. You may choose to add different fabric to the back to customize them but the front photo needs to be the same photo.



The first pillow is $11.00 , each additional pillow is $9.00 . Pink, blue or green minkie is also available for an additional $1.00 per pillow

Shipping is $2.00 for the first pillow plus 50 cents for each additional pillow.

To get the best quality photo for your pillow I recommend these things:
1)Can be taken in uniform or plain clothes
2)Set your camera to the highest pixel it will take a photo at
3)Your subject should be standing alone
4)Take photo vertically
I can use a photo that you already have, these are just suggestions if you are taking a photo.

i wish you would have posted this BEFORE i spent $30 on a daddy doll!!! can you do one with a pic of a baby on it. i was thinking about getting dh a pillow with Logan's pic on it, and sending it to him. but maybe like a 10x10 pillow or 8x8.

yeah, a square pillow would be great. how much would you charge for something like that? i want to send it to dh while he's deployed, since he left when ds was 11 days old.

After thinking about it I can do it the same way, I'll just make it more square. I'll charge the same amount - $11.00.
