Recovering Alcoholics/ Addicts
Hi, My name is Carolina and I'm a Recovering Alcoholic/ Addict
I noticed there is no thread or group or anything for people in this situation. I'm hoping by posting this I can hopefully find out whether or not I should make a group because, well... there's no point in making one if I'm going to be the only member... I can understand if no one wants to come out and say anything though... It's pretty nerve-racking to come out like this and put myself on the spot. - Carolina

You aren't the only one. I am a recovering addict, I have been clean for nine years, and my sister who lives with me (I have posted about her a LOT on here) is a recovering alcoholic (sober for 5 months). I know there are other girls on here in the same boat.
You are brave for posting this.

I'll admit it, I probably drink a whole lot more than I should. I know I'm physically damaging myself... I've aged myself so much in the past few years but I don't know, it seems everytime I quit life throws another boulder at me.

My mom has been sober for 12 years. I was there to see her drink herself to an almost death, get arrested and go to rehab. She has done amazing in these 12 years. I will be your
