Here but never together...
IDK if this group already exists so if it does let me know... DB is here in the states but he is stationed 10.5 hrs away from me
 (im in college) so this is for all you ladies that are in long distance relationships (non-overseas)!!! How long till you will get to be w/ your SO, y are you apart now, and how long have you been doing this???I will get to move to where DB is in about a year when i graduate, we are apart b/c i am going to college in TX and he is stationed in AR, and we have been doing it a little over a year!!!

I most def belong in this group. I am married to a Marine who is stationed 6hrs away from me. Due to the housing market we are unable to sell our home in AZ, so that the kids and I can move with him to Cali. So, now we live apart for the time being. Either we wait till the housing market picks up or he gets out. We have been living apart for almost 1 yr and it TOTALLY SUCK DONKEY ASS!!! Having kids makes it even harder!!!!

This would have been me and the ex. I live in our hometown in MN (go to WI for school) and he's stationed out in NY. Doesn't matter because we broke up, but I totally understand what you're going through.

Yup me too
 He was in Georgia with me in SC (4-5 hours away) for a year and now he is in LA and I'm VA (15 hours away) for the past 9 months or so--and it'll be staying this way for quite some time. So all told getting close to 2 years now and I'm not seeing that we'll be closer geographically for probably 2 or 3 more years
