Welcome to 2020, everyone. It’s 20 past 8 on the morning of the 1st for me, so I can say it.

Yes, I live in the future. No, we do not have flying cars. Return of Roaring Twenties stereotypes in general is yet to be confirmed.

What did you achieve last year? What do you want for this year?


Personally...we completed a major move and, when we got here, discovered that quite a lot of the state is on fire and everything smells like smoke. The fires are nowhere near us, thank GOD, but we’re very aware of them.

I'm in Cincinnati! I was hoping to make it to Dr.Bill's house in Akron this trip, but we start the drive back tomorrow so it's not happening. I went to the University of Akron

Sadly, yes. King Mierdas is yet to be dethroned, which is a shame as he makes the rest of you look bad. On the flip side, Scotty from Marketing is still here as well, and he needs to go too.

My New Year’s feast was ordering in Vietnamese - banh mi and enough rice paper rolls to thoroughly confuse the toddlers. We’re camped out in my parents spare room until the truck with our stuff arrives (which the fires are making more complicated; there are a LOT of road closures, including major highways) so at this exact moment “my kitchen” is actually “my mother’s kitchen”, and neither she nor I could be bothered.

Vegetarian hosts...ye gods. You poor, poor man.

We are driving back to San Diego.... we live in housing and we were displaced due to mold, we were supposed to be allowed back in the house Tuesday but when they did the walk through with DH the last person in there who was cleaning up spilled cleaner in the upstairs bathroom and it leaked down through the vents and light fixtures in the kitchen and pantry..... which means the floors weren't sealed as Lincoln said they were. Sooooo they are supposed to let him back in tomorrow..... we'll see.

This past year has been an eventful one, and this next one will be eventful too. I had just started a job with a new company at the end of 2018, and I have been promoted twice. The new promotion doesn't start until February.

My sister and I both got engaged last year, and are both getting married this year.

My sister also moved to Hawaii, and being that she is my bestie, that was a huge change. But, she is hoping to move to San Diego sometime before the end of this year.

I moved in with my now fiance. We took my family dog in.

I have gotten straight A's in my classes, but...they do the stupud A- is less than a 4.0 system, so I don't have a 4.0 anymore, but close enough. And, I should graduate by December of this year!


So excited for this year. And next year, honestly.
