    Photoshop

Since I won't have enough money to buy a DSLR in time for my trip to Israel next month, I was thinking of taking my simple Cannon digital, and buying Photoshop to clean up all my photos after.

Any thoughts? What did you like or not like about it? Amazon is currently selling the most basic package for $68, is it worth it?

I have photoshop and love it.

It's great for enhancing pictures, but can only do so much.

However, be aware that they are switching from software to a cloud format. Before buying anything, read these two articles:

I love photoshop but I've never used any basic versions. There's probably a few online editing things you could use to enhance your pics. Also, you can get other programs that do more -closer to fuller sets of photoshop for a decent price because they are not adobe. I used a program at work...Paintshop (it comes up on amazon for like $53) and it had a lot of good features. You probably get more for your money. Amazon.com: PaintShop Pro X5 Ultimate: Software
