Okay, so I picked out a few monologues and I want to know what are your opinions? I've put the links here:

    A Leap Year Leap

Comedic Female Monologue - Mrs. Santa Claus Monologue

    Scuba Lessons: Kelly's Monologue

Laughing Wild – by Christopher Durang | jeffmilner.com

I think I may be leaning towards the first one. I really like the last one, but it's really popular and there's always a risk with doing something that's been heard before.

    Thoughts?

Two of the female leads have good monologues in Assassins - not "melodramatic" per se - more like sarcastic/ironic. 1940's Radio Hour has some pretty good humorous sections - not sure if they are all duets, though.

We actually put on Assassins almost two years ago, so it wouldn't be "new" to any of, the directors. Love the show though!

I'll look into the other one
