Umm my most interesting person was either ....
D a college basketball player, so we got to go to eat everywhere for free. Which was pretty sweet, but it was weird having everyone know his name & think they were BFF's whenever we were near the school. OR E who was an outdoors-addict. Which was interesting. I'm all for hiking & all but I got pretty tired of hearing about cliff diving & going on week long trips without a shower s Maybe that's just me

I've dated some odd birds. Including my DH. In fact, he's the oddest but I love it. Even when he drives me crazy.
I dated a dude with dreads to his knees that worked all sorts of jobs, i broke up with him quickly (he was younger, I continued the romance because I was away at school but once we were in the same city i realized we were in two different worlds). About a year later we would occasionally get together when I was drunk or feeling ugly (yeah...thats right..no shame...ugh) and in that time he lost his job--due to drugs.. and started dealing. I QUICKLY ended any other hookups at that point. I've also dated a piercer but that was in my more insecure, desperate days. Not because he was a piercer but because he was a loser. I dated a banker/investor republican type--which was out there for me (at the time). And LOAAAADS of alcoholics. Loads of musicians/artists/grad students/hipsters. hand in hand with the alcoholicism.

Where there is courage, there is humility

I went on one date once with the man who helped fix a flat tire I had. This was back in 2004. He gave me his number and said I could call sometime. I called him the next night and asked him out to dinner to thank him for his help. Before we left my apartment (which I shared with my sis), my sis warned him that if he did anything to me, she knew how to shoot a gun. He was terrified!
So we went to dinner, and he started talking about being bipolar, etc. He went on about that the entire night. After dinner, he dropped me off, I thought that was the end of it. Here is the interesting part-but not in a good way. About 3 months later, he KIDNAPPED a child, from the family he was staying with, because he just knew they were going to harm the child. Even though the child told him they were not in any danger, and that the police later confirmed that the child was not in danger. He went off his meds and flipped on everyone when he kidnapped the child. In my family, there is a running joke that every man that I've dated besides my DB have not been the most stable of characters. |

Between exDB and DH, I was seeing this guy named Ian. Ive been pegged for having a "type" according to almost everyone who knows me. Dark hair, tall, broad, and "manly men" meaning the guys who are way into sports and cars and outdoors, who are somewhat aggressive and loud. Basically my DH (minus the cars thing).
Ian was nothing like that. He was quiet and very intelligent. He was a walking dictionary, I had to step my game up just to try and carry on a conversation with him. He had reddish blonde hair, was kinda short. He was average in looks. Not horrible but not great. And he was covered in tattoos. Full sleeves on both arms and legs, everywhere. He was a good bit older than me. He was the head chef at a resturaunt on the beach. Idk, its a little hard to explain how different he was from all my other ex's without being there. He just didnt fall into my categorized type.
