Why is finding a painter so damn hard! I have the paint all I want is for someone to paint the upstairs hall and LR. I am being quoted seriously ridiculous prices!!! I wish I knew more people around here who really enjoyed painting so I could just do it myself. I HATE painting but I want it done so bad.

If we can find a way to keep Monkey occupied then I would be more than willing to help you paint. I did my living room with just my sister's help & I have a vaulted ceiling & chair rail- your would be a piece of cake compared with that.

aww thanks babe. You really relaly don't have to if you don't want to tho. I despise painting. Like immensely so.. kwim. If you are one of those who does like to tho I can always get my mom to come over and watch all the kids...kwim.

Too bad Winston-Salem is so far from you, I know someone who could do it but i know he wouldnt drive that far.

I actually enjoy painting. It is the taping part I hate- probably why the living room took so long and there is blue paint all over the trim & tub in the bathroom I painted this summer . I find it to be soothing- it is a productive activity that I can see immediate results on- a big bonus for me.

I'll have to keep this in mind. You can come to Va Beach, I'll take the baby for a day or two and you can paint my foyer.......

I like the wine part & the good food part . . . but damn that is a threat of a lot of taping! We literally used 3 entire rolls of painters tape in my living room/hallway.
