    Wow Coyotes in my backyard?!?

    This AM around 230 DH and I kept hearing this crazy sound...right behind my house...We have really dense woods in my backyard...

    I've seen one on post here. There are some in the area, for sure. Heck, there are even some running around the Detroit suburbs in MI.

    I saw them all over the place, running down our street and hanging out in our front yard when we lived in Illinois. When they get hungry, they definitely come out of the woodwork. They are probably trying to fatten up before the cold hits.

    we had coyotes behind our old house...and they were pretty loud

    I used to live in Poulsbo and we would hear them all of the time in the woods across the street.

    Do you have cats or small dogs outside?

    They won't hurt your kids, and they only come out at night. If you have cats though make sure that they're indoors at night. My ex bf used to have cats and they coyotes would eat them in the middle of the night.
