We've decided on the name - General Parenting

Well, I really liked Caitlyn or Natalie....Turns out we can't have Natalie b/c his Mom doesn't want us to b/c their Dad's wife's (his parents are divorced) sister is named Natalie

Whatever, if I really liked the name I would pick it

SO, he also became really attached to Caitlyn and even told people that was her name

SO, looks like it will be Caitlyn.

As for middle names...I wanted it to be either Marie, after me and she carry that tradition on, or Solome, which is his Mother's middle name. WELL, when I told him I was considering this, the bone head got all excited and told his Mom

SO, now she is expecting that....

I want it to be Caitlyn Marie xxxx but it would hurt his mom's feelings if we decided not to....or we could name her Caitlyn Marie-Solome xxxx. The thing is, when we have a boy, he is naming him Phillip Greggory Phinney xxxx. Which is Phil's complete name and Phinney is his Mother's maiden last name. So, either way the lady is getting honored!

SOOO it will be Caitlyn Marie.

this is your kid....not grandma's! she got to name her kids and you get to name yours.

Write Caitlyn with a K and Marie with an a and you have the exact name DH and I picked for a future daughter. lol

No kidding!!! That's why I'm going with Marie, lol. He has always wanted to name his son after him and really, her last name is actually to honor his Grandfather, but she doesn't need to know that

I liked both pretty evenly but since I know he really has his heart set on Catilyn (he calls her that when "talking" to her), I'm fine w/ it. When we were talking about it last night and he told me about what his Mom said about Natalie, I told him he knew damn well if I really wanted it, that'd be her name

Maria instead od Marie, It's my middle name, as well as my mom's and grandma's. Not sure if it was used before that byt if I have a daughter she'll def have Maria as a middle name. She'd be the 4th generation with that name

Ahh, gotcha...Yeah, I'm hoping she will carry mine on to her daughter(s) and so forth.
