How long where you on the Met before you started having periods...
You were irrugular also right?
I just started today.... so far I haven't been sick just hot flashes
Its 60s outside and Im blaring the AC

Yeah my periods were like nonexsisent...one time they would be 60day cycle and the next could be 43, and so on...the longest I went without a cycle was 89days...and that was my last one before I started the metformin.
I startd taking it in June and I started off with one pill aday *it said 3 a day but the doc said to start slowly* for the first week and then two pills for the weeks after that and then 3 pills after that...and I noticed that I got my period on time * a 30 day cycle* in July...and then the one after that was a 29 day cycle and then they became a regular 31 days cycle in September...then in November, I stopped it all the way because I wanted to see if my body could do it it's self, and sure enough it did!!
SO in all it only took about a month of being on it for my cycles to start!!!

Mine says 3xs a day too but I called and they said I could work up to it also.
So, I am going to try 2 a day if that makes me sick I will cut back to 1 for a week then work up to 3. They are horse pills and smell aweful
Did you have any sickeness from it at first?
My cycles are the same way... Im over 70 days right now since I last had one. I hope it helps me too!!!

I know the smell of them is so nasty....yuck...HAHA.
No I didn't have any sickness with them but I think it was because I started off slowly with them. The only thing they did for me was they made me really thristy..lol.

Could the pills be why your breast are sore??
