bled in early pregnancy...I'm talking like spotting or discharge streaked with little blood or a pink colored discharge....how long did it usually last? I'm sorry for all my questions latley, I have an appt on Friday so I can ask my doc then if everything is normal but I also wanted to ask you ladies as well.

With pregnancy #1 about 3 hours

Preg. #2 about 1 day

Preg. #3 2 days, but it was from a botched pap smear.

I bled during this pregnancy and the last one also. It was never really explained why.... it only lasted a few days. My sister had placenta previa or low lying placenta and it caused her to bleed. I hope that it is nothing!!!

Thanks girls...I'm on day 4 right now, and it's not all the time just more if I am up and walking alot during the day...it's strange, I sure hope everything is okay...I'll find out on Friday!

With my 1st I had pink colored discharge for a week or a little more before I went to get it checked out. I think total it might have lasted for two weeks.

I had regular periods htey were a little lighter but I still had to use tampons...for the first month I had what seemed like 2 regular cycles. They didn't seem worried either and said that some women have periods and bled still.

I didn't find out I was pregnant with Ethan until I was 13 weeks, but I did bleed like a normal period. With Emilee I started bleeding at 15 weeks but it was very thin bright red blood, it turns out I had partial placental abruption, I bled a lot for a long time if I was on my feet.

I bleed hard at the end of my pregnancy. That caused me to be on bed rest for the last 8 weeks. If it is at the begining and very light, don't worry about it. Talk it over with your DR though.
