when your child(ren) call you the same thing you call your own parents?!? I call my mother, "Mom" and DS calls me, "Mom". It was fine when he called me "Mommy", but when he says, "Mom", it makes him sound so much older.

I feel old.

My son calls me mama-the same thing I used to call my grandma.. and I would have to say.. No.. it doesn't make me feel old at all..

When they grow from Mommy to Mom it reminds me just how fast the time is going by. So yeah, I know what you mean.

I just didn't think it'd happen so soon! I was hoping to have 10 more years to go before I got called, "Mom".

He just turned 4 almost 2 months ago.

He's slowly dropping the "Mommy".

Hunter still calls me mommy. My MIL (she lives with us) will sometimes say "Go ask your mom" and he goes "Noooo, she's not my mom! She's my MOMMY!" <3

I dread the day when mine start calling me Mom. I like them calling me Momma.

When I called my aunt and siblings to say I was getting married, they all said they felt old

I already feel older when I realize my nephew will be twelve soon.

My 7 year old still doesn't call me "mom"

. I asked him if he wanted to call me "mom" instead of "mommy" since other kids his age say mom and he said no, he wanted to keep calling me mommy.
