Clothing size question.
Charlotte is about 2.5 and she runs pretty true to size. Well except for being tiny through the middle and tall. Adjustable waist pants usually solve that issue.
My question is that I'm looking for some winter sweaters and jeans for her but she's going to be closer to 3 by the end of winter so do I go up a size or stay at 2T until she actually turns 3? This is our first year where she hasn't been blowing through everything cause she's growing so fast and I'm not sure what to do. She turns 3 in May so she could wear 3T stuff next winter realistically. Why can't I figure this out? lol. |

I buy all of my boys clothes big at the beginning of the season so they fit all the way through. And really.. you have no idea what she'll wear next winter... she could keep going on her trend or she could hit a huge spurt and blow past 3T.
My 3 1/2 year old is in S/M shirts and size 5 jeans in boys right now

Being a little big wont hurt anything ![]() All of our 4T, 5T and XS and size 4 clothes are already away in bins even though I have a 3 year old and a 4 year old .

Zayne's going to have a heck of a wardrobe, though, when the time comes. I wish I knew what sex our 2nd is so I know whether I have to stock up on boy things or I can continue to justify buying Charlotte too much because another baby will use it.ahaha that last part doesn't leave here.

If I were you I'd go with the bigger sizes, but I buy everything big because I have to buy my daughter new clothes about every two months and same with shoes even if I get them a half size too big!

I always buy Sydney's stuff a little big and I can't with Olivia. Olivia is almost 2 and wears a 3T and they fit perfectly, it I went up a size pants would be waaay too long and so would shirts.

That's the problem I have with getting Charlotte pants a size up. She's just now beginning to fill into the waist of 24 month pants. The 18 month pants fit in the waist but are way too short. Length on 2t or 24 month stuff is perfect but they fall off if the waist doesn't adjust.
