Ds is 2 1/2 and he sweats so much while he sleeps, but during the day while he's awake he dosent.
what it could be, I tried to google it but cant come up with anything. Do any of you have a child who sweats like crazy while sleeping? He has literally been asleep for 30 mins and his bed sheet is already soaked! Its not hot in our house, we keep it at 72 degrees. Its just very weird to me.... maybe im loosing my mind! IDK

A lot of kids do that actually, but I would still bring it up to his pediatrician. He might need his hormone levels for his thyroid and stuff checked out.

What does your son wear to bed? Unless it's cool in our house (70° and below), DS wears shorts with no shirt or socks to bed and only uses a sheet. Otherwise he would sweat! My husband has to have 1 foot sticking out from under the sheets and comforter or he'll sweat too! Is there a fan in your son's room? |

Everything I've found says, "It's just a toddler thing" (I googled "2 year old night sweats")
There is a lot of recommending they get their thyroid checked, but some people just naturally sweat, especially if they have a high metabolism naturally (which, based on his slender frame, I'd wager he does.) |
