Anyone do Stroller Strides? - General Parenting

If yes, do you like it? Are the $55 a month fees justified? Also, are the workouts good or do you just walk around for an hour? TIA!

I, personally, wouldn't pay $55 a month for a stroller workout that I can do on my own time.

I haven't done it but I see them by my house all of the time. They don't just walk they do exercise with the stroller such as squats, lunges, etc. and they also do exercises with the babies/kids as weights I guess.

its cute and looks like a pretty good workout. Are you in military housing? They have a stroller strikes for lincoln military housing and it meets at tidelands park in coronado and I am almost certain its free but I think its only 1-2 days per week.

ETA: its a great way to meet other mothers and they have get togethers and events I believe.

Yep, I always see those groups posted in my area. Maybe join a free mommy meet-up of this type?

Yeah I'm not too keen on that price but I really need to get off my butt and work out more. It also seems like a nice way to meet new people but jeepers, for that price it better be an amazing workout. I'm trying to decide between this or joining a gym that has childcare. Still on the fence....

I live in Eastlake so I'm interested in the Chula Vista 3x a week group...I hate driving

why not go to the base gym? I know our gym has a family room with work out stuff and a seperate kids area.
