Got Milk?
Not so much.
My dd is almost 10 months and my milk has all but dried up. The only time she seems to get anything or really wants to nurse is first thing in the monring. She will try at feeding times through out the day but she is not getting to much and seems to distracted to do it, no matter what I do or where we are. I so wanted to make it to a year and I am so bummed that I haven't. But I am thankful that I was able to do it this long. I am torn with what to do. Should I just keep nursing her in the am or just go to bottles. With ds I tried meds but had a bad reaction so that it not an option this time. Just wanted to share my little bit of sadness.

I would keep nursing her and then if she wants more, offer her a sippy cup. The way I see it, if you give it up entirely, you'll lose whatever milk you do have left for sure. If you keep nursing, you're still demanding a supply and you might be able to keep a little bit of a supply that way. Just depends on if you think your nursing relationship is done now or not.
![]() Congrats on making it to 10 months. That's an AWESOME accomplishment and you should be proud.
