how old is to young to let the kids wear deoderant? my son is 5 and he wears the axe spray stuff only cause he wants to be like daddy. but my mom said that i was crazy for letting him wear deoderant

so how old were your kids?

My son is eight and doesn't need it. My daughter has been wearing it since she was four. And she needs it lol.

my dd got it at 10.. cause she stunk

my babies wear it when they are in the bathroom and see me putting it on, my son also wears "boy gel" like daddy in his hair, if he sees daddy putting it on...

That may be a little unconventional and I doubt any kid NEEDS it at 5 but hey...if it's not hurting the kid, why not?

I started at about 12 I think

My sons wear the body spray on occassion because they want to be like daddy so daddy lets them have some. I see nothing wrong with it. My oldest son has a really strong BO and will probably start having to wear it soon. I think if they want to wear it then so be it, it isn't going to hurt them unless they have really sensitive skin.

Some kids have a strong BO than others and could need it then.

Start now and you can teach him good things! I would buy him the cheap dollar tree stuff and let him put it on himself.

I think as long as he's not irritating his skin, its okay. My son likes to pretend shave, and will occasionally put on my deodorant.

If it's not irritating their skin, and they aren't glopping it on, I say let them. It just teaches them good hygiene habits.
