Surgery in the a.m. - General Parenting

The day has finally come. DS is having surgery. I will be so glad when it's all said and done. They called today and it's pushed back to 11 am, which I'm not happy about because my fatty 7 month old is gonna have a hard time not eating after midnight when he's used to getting up at 7 am and eating.

Doc said the surgery will be about 3 hrs cuz it's a severe case. (He was born with his testicles in his bladder, still haven't come down. They will circ him and he is also having plastic surgery done to the penis itself.) I could just really use some positive thoughts and prayers. We have already been warned they could be damaged or not right and then they will have to be removed instead, which means no kids for him. It's going to be a long day tomorrow!

My DD (13 months) just had surgery yesterday, so I know what you're going through. (Hers kept getting pushed back too...she was STARVING when she woke up.) Sending thoughts and prayers everything goes great tomorrow. I was terrified (honestly thought it would send me into labor) but everything went fine and she was totally back to normal this morning.
