kids not eating?? - General Parenting

i dunno what to do aiden just wont eat i dunno if its because he was sick last week and still doesnt feel like it or what but its starting to worry me

It's completely normal for them to do that at 2. When Alex was doing that his pedi told me that it was normal and if he'll only eat once thing, then just let him eat that when he's hungry. lex went through a period where all he'd eat everyday was mac n cheese.

But if he wont eat ANYTHING at all and wont drink anything THEN I'd call the doc of course.

well he drinks alot and he does eat at least one thing a day but it drives me crazy yesterday we went to golden corral and he ate pretty good but he only eats like one a day

Its a very normal thing for kids that age...MacKray is starting to do it too believe it or not. Also, he may not want to eat when you are trying to feed him...if he won't eat when you want to see if 30 minutes later he wants it.

When he is hungry he'll eat

It's a phase most of them go through.

Just ask him what he wants and if he asks for like PB&J or Mac n cheese or whatever every time.. just give it to him.

anyways i try to wait till he is hungry thn i let him pick what he wants then when he goes to eat he throws a fit and says he isnt hungry.

right now he is eating a banana thankfully

Just don't stress over it. It'll pass. Alex was that way for a while and now the kid is ALWAYS asking for food. It amazes me how skinny he is with the amount he can pack away lol. Then again.. he never stops running around the house lol.

well i will be glad when this passes but then after he is over it teegan will start it i dunno charidee hasnt started it yet that girl loves to eat
