What a great year for gamers.

And we have 2 more years of highly anticipated games to comes.

Seems like i'm finishing off the year having completed A Hat in Time, destroying countless captains on Middle Earth: Shadow of War, and relaxing playing a string of tournaments on Everybodys Golf.

Yup, to me; 2017 was definitely a great year.

And now I cant wait for more titles to come. At my workplace we're all excited for Days Gone (2018). But personally, I cant wait for more reveals of CP 2077 (2019 it seems).

What are your favorite games this year? And what are you looking forward to the next coming years?
Also, which platform(s) do you play on?

Im PC | PS4, but hoping to add Nintendo Switch very soon.

We have a PS4 and a switch, I bought the crash bandicoot remastered trilogy on Black Friday and played it once so far I’m not really into video games tbh. The switch is super fun though!!! I LOVED the new Mario game, I thought the hat thing would be stupid but it was the most fun part of the game imo. I especially loved how everything you throw it on also gets a mustache Mario kart for the switch is also super fun but I don’t think there’s anything really new about it, it’s mario kart.

We bought a PS4 this year and DH has been playing Madden ... I was going to buy Star Wars Battlefront II but got way less excited about it after the single player campaign got spoiled for me and the whole "pay to win" thing ... meh.

We are mostly PC gamers ... the only game I really play is WoW but DH also have a Vive and I love playing the VR games. There's one like Rampage that is super fun. DH also plays a lot of Fallout but I'm really bad at first person shooters so I've never tried it.

My BIL is super into games too ... he works for the company that makes World of Tanks but I've never tried playing it.

I almost got the Trilogy for nostalgia purposes, but chickened out because I was still holding out for A Hat in Time to come out (took awhile, but the wait was worth it.
Super Mario Odyssey is the main reason why I want a switch, also Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
I kinda feel the same about Mario Kart but i think ill give it a shot one of these days.

World of Tanks is fun, my bro is into it but its a bit slower paced for me (kinda like CoD: WWII is now to me so i ended up dropping them).

EA got a lot of negative flak for the microtransactions in SW BF II. Hopefully they learn from this and improve how they approach 'content' in gaming.

VR looks crazzzy! The variety of gaming is endless and it all looks like fun. Infact, VRChat has been trending quite a bit lately for the past couple of weeks. Im surprised how interactive it is.
