I see dragons...

I lost track of how many runs I did, total, for this mount. In the last week, I finally found a semi-dedicated group, to run through Caverns of Time: The Culling of Stratholme on heroic, every day, for a week. Even if they couldn't make it, I did. And I watched drake, after drake, after drake, go to everyone else I knew.

Finally, even with someone else who didn't have the mount in the party, it was my turn. The person who didn't have it actually passed, to make sure I'd get it. (Depressingly, the night before I'd gone with a good friend of mine healing, and I wouldn't have minded losing to her at all, but the warlock who came along won it and proceeded to tell us, for about five minutes, that he didn't even care that he got it. )

I got it at last, and I hope the next time I get on that it will go to my SO, or the nice healer who helped me on the nights she could. I want to see them both get their bronze drakes! Yeah, it's not a plagued protodrake or something, but I don't care. He's pretty, and he's mine!

(I even rambled about it in my WoW blog, because this is the first special, non-rep mount I've gotten. There's a piccie there! Go look!)

Aw, thanks guys! I'm still super excited about it.

I'm glad my blog is getting more people looking at it. I'm shy about self-promotion, but I've felt a little awkward posting for only two or three people. Thanks for reading it!
