I use to play Unreal Tournament (2004) all the time - endlessly, for years...before that was Red Alert: Command and Conquer.

But the other week I got bored with Unreal Tournament and gave my husband's Brother's in Blood (Earned in Blood) a spin - we ended up playing that together, finished it last night and now I'm hooked.

So - what other good first-person war games are out there?
We have Full Spectrum Warrior - which I just finally got running right so I don't know if I like it or not (we had sound issues)

Any others?

I'd recommend the Call of Duty line of games if you are looking for first person war games

Call of Duty 4 is pretty fun, they are coming out with Red Faction III I believe. Gears of War 2 is coming out in November and there is always the first one.

Those are all console ones though, not sure if they are on PC as well.

Hah - well, today I went out and bought a new graphics card - answered all the guy's questions and found out all the info - bought one, brought it home, only to find that it's not designed for my pc (a small form/low profile) and I'm pissed ... and I haven't had any luck finding one on the net, either.

So - I did buy Call of Duty, though, the first one, to see if I like it (it was the cheapest) and if I do then I know I have 3 more to pick from after this. LOL!!

DB would say BF2 or any Call of Duty game.

I used to sit and play the Orig. Call of Duty for hours
