Question on WoW

Ok, so my bf just got this game, it looks super cool. I'd love to join, but is it hard to get the hang of? How addicting is it? lol. I ask because I don't want to fail this semester from playing a computer game! How do you guys like it?

Ive been playing a month and Im still learning new things. Im not a gamer whatsoever so it was a bit difficult for me to get the hang of it. But I love it and Im glad I started playing.

I'm not a gamer either, unless you count guitar hero. I think I'd be up for the challenge though.

oh my hubby and i have been playing WOW for almost an entire month now and we picked up on it fairly quickly and like Jill said it can be as addicting as you let it be. LOL

WOW as far as MMORPGs go is really easy to pick up and learn but yes, more difficult to master. They have made it geared toward more casual players though, people who work etc. It CAN be addicting like anything else but if you tend not to get addicted to things then I wouldn't worry, it really is only as addicting as you let it be like Jill said.

For starters do not play on a PvP server for your first character. Do not play an alliance warlock for first character, especially on a PvP server. Some of the easier to level classes for beginners would be Night Elf hunters or any hunter for that matter, mages on either side, priests are good if you think you would like to heal. Also human chicks are cute and all but human racials suck bawls unless you want to play in battle grounds. I personally like Gnomes and Night Elves on the Alliance side both for aesthetics and racial abilities. For the Horde side I go with Blood Elves and Undead for the same reasons.

If you decide to go horde pve I have a priest on Khaz Modan named Jackieorly and for pve alliance i do have a druid named Lulubelle on Nhazgrel. If you do decide to go pvp though I have a 70 Gnome lock on Dragonmaw named Laun. I love running people through stuff, I will help you level on any of those servers just let me know.

Ok, So would I have to buy my own cds and stuff? Or could I use my bf's?

My Dh says you "can" use it, but you can't play at the same time. If you want to play at the same time, you gotta get your own. I don't usually post about this stuff but my DH got caught on the title of the thread.
