it wont download! - Gamers

I have been trying to download the WOW 10 day free trial, to see what all the fuss is about!! i love RPG games. It wont work, every time it actually downloads, when i open it and select play it performs a "fatal error" I checked and my computer meets all the requirements so I don't understand what is going on? if anyone can help me, or has some light to shed on this it would be greatly appreciated

i ended up erasing my whole hardrive, deleting my partitions, and starting fresh!! lets hope that worked!!! it is downloading now...

does your computer have enough memory and are you doing this on a desktop or a laptop

what about the graphics card?? sometimes your computer will have enough memory to download it but if you go to play the graphics card might be able to play it...make sense? I hope so.
If it downloads completely, then you have enough memory. Also, you can go and look up the technical support and you might be able to get help through them. We had trouble downloading it to my new computer...it had all the requirements and then some..but it was having trouble downloading. WE had to go out and buy a copy of the game to actually get it to download. So, if all else fails, you can also try doing that. I know you just wanted the 10 day free trial but I think buying the game came with a full month...don't remember for sure, so don't quote me on it.

..you'll love it..it is very addicting!

ehh, i checked the memory and i have more than enough, my graphics card is from 2005 so that might be it....it wouldn't download completely...

i might have to go out and buy it....we'll see :grumble
