WOW Burning Crusade Expansion Pack - Gamers

How many of you already have the Burning Crusade Expansion Pack and how does it work along with the regular WOW game we already have. We just bought it last night and my hubby put them on both computers but we havent logged in to play yet. So I was just wondering if anything will change from what we were currently doing or is it just that we can go new places and have new characters?

we have it. i think the only things that will change are that you can have different character "races" and if you're a high enough level there will be new zones/quests/etc. DH has just been able to start getting in to expansion stuff in the last week or two, but he really likes it.

now i need to go ding 35

You can create new characters, go to new places once you hit 60 (it allows you to hit 70). There are also more instances and raids and a while slew of new gear. You can go to Shattrath (a new city) - get a mage to port you there and set your hearth. There are ports from there to all major cities so it's much easier and cheaper to get around.

There's a new expansion pack called the Lich King coming out in Oct/Nov - there's going to be even more characters to create and the max level will go up to 80.

well its going to be a long while before we hit 70 LOL or even 40 for that matter.

You can still go to shattrath if you get a mage to port you there.

well i do have a mage but I have to wait until I get to level 40 to be able to teleport groups. my older son has the expansion pack and has a mage but i dont think he can teleport anyone yet either.

If you advertise on trade chat I'm sure someone will teleport you. It's worth it just to enable you to get everywhere!

You have to run from the hillsbrad foothills (the path that goes West). [Edited because I was thinking of the wrong place!]

oh I was gonna say the guards are supposed to be friendly. well it will be awhile before we go there. I might see if Brandi and Jason can get us up that way since they have been there before. Then we can take a gryffon. I love flying places cause walking is to dangerous. LOL
