How come to do the Deadmines you can only have 5 people? I mean we ran it last night with my two sons who had level 18 warriors and my hubby the level 23 pally and I was on my way to level 22 and then we had a level 18 or 19 priest for healing. But I am thinking we should have had at least 2 priests even though Rob could have healed and resurrected. Rob had to help tank a bit too. we all died maybe 2 or 3 times because our priest died and then Rob died. so me and my two sons also died. That thing was hard and we never got the first couple of quests done before you have to go into the instance but we at least finished the instance last night. I just think I would have felt more comfy with my sons being higher up or something. Or at least had an higher up priest.

hmm, is a full group 5 or 6? (i think it's 5?) if it is 5 then i think that's why...you can only have the one group doing the instance. i could be completely wrong though lol.

Deadmines is an instance which means it's a 5 man. All dungeons/instances are 5 mans, at 60 there are 40 man raids (which few people do now), then when you get to 70 there are 10 man raids, and 25 man raids.

I was in a big raiding guild, didn't do a lot of raiding but I have done a crapton of 5 mans so I can answer lots of questions about how to do them.

Good thing would be to have a tank (usually a warrior or can be a feral druid), a dedicated healer (holy priest, resto druid, holy pally, even a resto shammy), an off healer who can heal or dps (like enhancement shammy) and then two dps classes (locks, mages, hunters, etc.).

oh well the one we did we had my two sons who are warriors who by the way have already leveled past me and my hubbys pally and mage LOL. but we have been trying to level up our night elves too. But we had my two sons and then my hubbys pally who is a healer but he also fought so he was like back up healer and he resurrects and we had my mage and my sons found us a priest. But when we did the deadmines we all died like twice LOL but thats because my two sons were only level 18's and the priest was a 19 but then we went with Brandi and Jason and another online game friend and i only died once but my hubby resurrected me.

It's pretty normal to die a few times or completely wipe a few times, especially at lower levels. Heck even geared up and experienced lv. 70's make mistakes and wipe groups every now and then
