Free Beta fish, in HI!!! - Freebies

Free Beta fish, tank, food, water purification tablets and everything else you see. We are on Hickam AFB and are moving off island next month. So they had Beta's in the center pieces at one of our Dining in's and the DH and I managed so sneak one out after a few drinks that evening. We really didn't expect the little guy to live soo long. He's a dark blue color and my daughter calls him Casper. Free to a good home, He really is the only fish we have managed to keep alive so long.

I believe Ashley was referring to the part about taking the fish from a centerpiece.

I was referring to the fact that you stole a fish, not expecting it to live as long as it does... it's a fish, not a lightening bug... if you want one, buy it for the whooping, what? five bucks they cost.... Not steal it.

I've seen people use fish in centerpieces before. I think it's cool that you sort of rescued one.

We're about to move off island next month too, so we can't take it, but

Our centerpieces were always raffled off at my husbands functions....

I would have taken it too, what are they gonna do with 50+ fish lol

Yes we did steal a fish that was used as a decoration.... Two wrongs don't make a right but I'm sure my daughter has appreciated him this past year far more than the people that bought him to look pretty for one night.

I don't exactly feel the need to explain drunken endeavors to you.Though out of silliness not out of want we did end up with a fish. We do now however have to find a home for him since we can't exactly take him on an airplane on an overnight flight for 7 hours. So if I do have anyone seriously interested, in him. Please message me. I am entirely too stressed out with this upcoming move to deal with the righteous today. k thanks to anyone else. Will check back tomorrow.

I'll take him. I don't mind having a hot fish! Seriously .... it was a FISH. I'm sure they weren't the only ones!
