Vets Eat Free at Applebees - Freebies

Hi Ladies (and gents!),
November 11, Veteran's Day, all active duty with ID eat free at Applebees. DH and I are going to use it for a cheap lunch out together.

No coupon necessary, just an ID.

I get so confused when things are for "active duty" military.

This is includes reservists too right, and anyone who has served?

What about spouse ID's? Serious question, pretty sure there's no Applebees where Chris is at lol.

Vets yes, spouses no. Though that would prob be up to the individual applebees. Some may see military ID card, and not differentiate between dependent and not, esp in areas that are not military heavy. (the Applebees right off base might care since thats all they are getting, but the one 50 miles away might not, since they might see two or three)
It says an ID, picture in uniform, actually be wearing a uniform, a veterans benefit statement, or military pay stub.
Basically, prove it SOMEHOW and they will feed you

I wonder if our Applebee's is doing it this year because they didn't last year?? I couldn't find which locations are participating on the website.

I just asked Josh this... How do they know that someone just didn't get a uniform from Goodwill or the surplus store?

I wish there was a list of participating ones. We live in a HIGHLY military area (what with the AF Academy, 2 AF bases, and Fort Carson).

I am SO STUPID!!! I saw Vets eat free and guess what stupid me thought??? Veterinarians! And I was like hmmm I wonder how many veterinarians there are on this site... wow I need some sleep...
