T.G.I. Friday's Frozen Skillet Meals - Food and Drink Reviews

We tried the "Creamy Chicken Pasta Carbonara" flavor last week and it was one of the nastiest things I've ever eaten. Everything was mushy and the only thing you could taste were the peas.

I guess the chicken was supposed to be "blackened" but it just tasted horrible.

The bag says you can feed 4 with one, but we barely had two small bowls full. For $6 you can buy a much nicer skillet meal, like the Bertolli's frozen pasta.

We tried it and I didn't like it either but there were definitely 4 portions in it. 2 got thrown away.

yeah all those skillet meals feed only about 2

I measure portions and eat correct portions only so maybe that's why it seems less to you?

I like the stouffers skillets....theres two servings in those but generally I add a couple extra veggies to it cause it is small. Like the lean cuisine skillets that served two and were like 500 calories for a whole bag. 250 calories won't get me through dinner. I need some sustenance.

a cup of those skillet meals can't fill me up. i've tried those portions and i'm still starving even after waiting 1.5 hours to digest.

I've tried the stuffers chicky and veggie...yuck! I think I'll stay away from these meals in a bag unless someone gives a great recommendation.

The Bertolii pasta ones are the only ones I've ever liked. All the other kinds are mushy and bland.

yeah i second the bertolli and i really love steamfresh. the steamfresh ones are nice and light.

I dont remember the brand butI get one from Walmart all the time thats Shrimp Linguini in Alfredo Sauce and I

it. Also, my wifey had me eat one the other day at her house that was pretty good but she will have to get in here and tell you what its called.
