    Question COL Calculator

    Advertisements
What would you say is the best/most reliable COL comparison calculator? I've just been Googling and am getting wildly different comparison numbers so I'm just not sure which is the most accurate.

    Here's 3 that I've tried:

    1. Cost of Living Calculator - Cost of Living Comparison Index Tool

    2. Cost of Living Comparison

    3. Cost of living: How far will my salary go in another city? - CNNMoney

#1 and #3 are giving me somewhat similar numbers, but #2 is completely different.

I think 1 and 3 are more accurate. I just did it for what I make here vs what would be needed back in NH and number 2 seemed REALLY low.

haha ok I was hoping #2 was more accurate because it was giving me more money 1 and 3 were closer together, but still off by a few thousand.

Number 2 told me what I make here is equivalent of 75,000 in NH which is just not possible haha the other two said like 90 something which seems more realistic to me
