    New Baby Tax Question

    Advertisements
So the year we had Wyatt (a May baby), we paid someone to complete our taxes. This year, like last, I'll be doing them myself. Emmett was born on 11/09 - does he count as being an 'expense' (I cannot think fo the right name right now) for the entire year?

You get to claim him for the entire year, yes. If he was born at 11:59pm on 12/31 you would get to claim him.
