    tax help PLEASE

    Advertisements
    I live in CA

So Back in may I started working at a place that does not deduct for taxes with their paychecks. I was told that I would be contacted in a quarter to get my taxes

Meanwhile I have been stashing about 30% of each paycheck ready to pay

fast foward we are getting into january and I kept asking, and I finally got an answer "oh, well, your an indiependent contractor, so you have to file quarterly on your own" Ive oly worked at jobs that deduct before, and I no way want to owe backtaxes. I have no idea how to start, and im REALLY pissed that the woman who hired me for not getting back to me sooner

does anyone know how to file quarterly as an independent contractor? how I would go about paying the taxes I owe? etc etc.

I never filed quarterly, I just filed at the end of the year like normal and didn't have a problem.

I was told that many people choose to file quarterly so they don't owe so much at once. I hope you find some answers!
Never do anything halfway unless you want to be half happy.

Is this a dream? If it is, please don't wake me from this high. I'd become comfortably numb
until you opened up my eyes to what it's like when everything is right...I can't believe you found me ♥
