    What is your net worth?

Include everything - investments, loans, debt, car values, etc.

ETA: If you're married it can be a joint number.

I voted wrong, I guesstimated but after doing a calculator thing online it says it's much higher, I forgot about the car and the money we've put towards the mortgage.

Would school debt count as a positive or a negative. I know 'debt' is counted against your net worth, but things like morgage and school loans are often counted as a positive towards net worth since they pay off in the end....so which would you like?

oops... I hit one and then tried to scroll up the page... and it changed my answer... but including the school loans that I have... probably closer to the -20k... 'cause we also have loans on both cars...

Positive net worth, but below 20k. My home is worth more than my mortgage and my debt put together, plus I have savings.

If you have a mortgage, the house is an asset but the mortgage amount is a liability. So, if the house is worth $300,000 but you owe $200,000, the net worth is $100,000. School loans are a liability.

Gotcha. Ok then my personal net worth is between than -80 and -100k. School loans. However they will all hopefully be paid off in 5-7 years.

Net worth with MF is somewhere around the -10k mark.

0 or more, simply because of my school loans Once we get those paid off (3 1/2 more years woo!!), we'll have a decent net worth.

-50 Thousand for me, after my car and student loans. My car was paid in full the day we bought it.
