Anyone who has switched EVERYTHING TO USAA?

We currently have Navy Federal. Everything is through them and we do all of our banking online. I have heard great reviews on USAA and want to switch our stuff over. How difficult would this be, has anybody made the switch with everything? By everything I mean...
3 checking accounts
3 savings accounts
1 car loan.
2 credit cards

I want USAA for all of that and additional life insurance, car insuanrce and renters insurance. DO you think it is a good idea to have literally all financial concerns with one bank? I plan on keeping like $50 bucks in Navy Fed just to keep it open. Thoughts? Easy, difficult? Can it be done all over the phone?

I don't know about switching everything. But once you are with USAA, you can do a lot of stuff online. Like renter's insurance. I did ours that way.

I figured as much and I really like USAA. I have to transfer CC balances and savings balances and it all makes me so nervous. It is alot of monetary transfers :nervous

We transferred everything. We got car insurance and we were so pleased that we transferred everything. That included a CC, car loan, savings, checking, insurance, all our online bill pay accounts and renters/homeowners insurance. It did take some time, but it wasn't a pain or anything. They were very helpful and have a lot of shortcuts along the way. We have saved so much money and heartache, I would do it again in a SECOND.

I was going to ask the same thing. We had an issue with our mortgage with them, but they quickly fixed it and that's about the only bad thing I can say about them.

Should I start by calling them? Can somebody talk me through it on the phone! I really like that they refund ATM fees. Big D racks up at LEAST 20 bucks a month in those and when we are in Vegas, close to 50!

I never even knew you could switch CC!? Is that for cards that are paid off, or can they have a balance on them? What would be the advantage of switching if it does have balance?

He said because he got screwed over with car insurance and checking account..he said they refused to fix the mistake. I dunno I use wachovia and Navy Federal. Other than Scott I never heard anything bad about USAA.
